It is very important to have everything shut and closed when you are not home. This water damage occurred under the windows in this upstairs bedroom from excess rainfall coming into the house through open windows during a storm and no one being home for two weeks. This becomes more than just a water damage, but a harmful mold damage that can cause lots of problems down the road for your health and your home. Our crews were able set up containment and an air scrubber. Then we removed the drywall and insulation due to excess mold. We had to encap the wooden studs after wire brushing any visible mold and HEPA-vacced the effected area, and restored the wall. Now thanks to SERVPRO of Burlington Township / Mount Holly we are ready to put up fresh drywall, repaint the room and have the family living back in here without causing any harm to themselves.
