Jersey Shore Beaches Restored in Time for Memorial Day

If you're traveling to the Jersey Shore this Memorial Day for some quality time on the beach, take a moment to appreciate all the work put in to restore the beaches with more sand and beach-space. Several storms this past winter left the beaches eroded and damaged. Experts explained two major storms over the winter did extensive damage to the beaches. Hurricane Joaquin last October luckily didn't make landfall but it did remain stationary off the coast for several days which caused waves to erode more than normal; in some places more than superstorm Sandy in 2012.
Travelers from Burlington or Mt. Holly heading to the shore will find the newly restored beaches a great part of their long weekend. SERVPRO of Burlington and Mount Holly wishes everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day!
